This is Remi, just 9 weeks old and so beautiful it’s a crime.  She has a temperament to match her looks.  We look forward to watching this lovely girl grow up!

It’s that time of year again and Toby’s owner has found another costume for him to wear.  He looks very pleased with himself as a “punk rocker” complete with Mohawk, studded collar and bracelet.  Rock on, Toby!

The two little girls that were rescued by one of our wonderful clients have now found a home.  You may remember that their two brothers had been adopted by Dr. Stannard some weeks ago.  The girls are now in an indoor-only home together.  Their placement makes a satisfying ending to an initially sad story.

We just reminded you how important Wellness testing is for your pet.  Now Wellness testing can save you some money as well!  If you bring your pet in for an exam and he is due for either Junior or Senior Wellness testing you will receive a 20% discount on the price of a dental cleaning.  The dental cleaning must be performed within 30 days of the Wellness testing to qualify.  The discount applies also to any dental xrays that we may take as well as any extractions that need to be performed during the procedure.

If your pet’s breath leaves you breathless he may need a dental cleaning.  Now more than ever Wellness testing is the place to start!

wellness n: good health, especially as an actively sought goal.

How do we know if our pets are in good health?  They are always happy to see us, don’t ever complain and are always up for anything.  Often it isn’t until our pets are VERY ill that we suspect that something might be amiss with them.  Part of seeking to maintain Wellness in our pets is to detect problems that they may have before signs of illness appear.  A physical exam and blood panel is recommended for pets at least yearly and twice yearly for those over the age of 7.

We at Adobe feel strongly about the value of Wellness testing for our patients and our own pets.  Identifying and treating potential problems in our pets is key to having them healthy and happy and with us as long as possible.
